Trash & Its Creative Potential Project | September 27, 2019
From our last workshop we discussed our relationship to the discard based on how
“the increasing automation of production would eventually eliminate the worker altogether.” Karl Marx We spoke on the Anthropocene and what we would find if we were to observe our own civilization 2,000 years from today. Our third topic covered the fragility of “untouched wilderness,” what we may consider as “natural” in an urban landscape and finally globalization in relation to consumerism. I was quite fortunate the band @pazyrykband came and gave a sweet performance. That very same day we got coverage by an interviewer who is creating a documentary between Turkish and American relations. It was one heck of a day.
